2020/21 Tax Season at Eiger, Lang & Company, CPA LLC

Believe it or not, Tax Season 2020/21 has officially begun! While we remained hopeful that the COVID-19 pandemic would be behind us and we could operate our firm as we normally did in years past, it is evident that this is not the case. Therefore, we had to make the difficult decision to continue with a virtual tax season. 

What is a “Virtual Tax Season”

The health of our staff and our clients remains one of our top priorities. Therefore, to ensure the safety of all, we are no longer able to offer in-person meetings and are limiting the foot traffic in our offices.  However, we have implemented several options to ensure that we meet and exceed all of your needs to make your life less taxing.

How to Get Us Your 2020 Tax Documents:

Unable to go digital?

Drop off your documents to one of our offices. Please call ahead to ensure staff is on site.  


Mail your documents to one of our office locations. Please expect mail delays if using USPS. We strongly advise sending any tax documents with tracking to ensure traceability if there is a delivery issue.

We ask that all documents regardless of how they are delivered are received no later than March 15th so we can do our part and be ready for the April 15th deadline. If you need to file an extension, please contact us and we can file for it electronically.

The Process:

Once we have your tax documents, we will begin preparing your tax return.

When your return has been prepared, our administrative staff will reach out to discuss how you would like to receive your tax return. You can opt to:

  • Receive a digital copy of your return to view and electronically sign through our secure tax software via email.
  • Receive a hard copy via mail. Note you will need to send back your signed e-file form before we can electronically file your return.
  • Receive a hard copy to pick up at one of our office locations.

If you prefer to go over your return before you receive it, please let us know and we can set up a Zoom or teleconference with the accountant handling your return.

Paying Our Fees:

In order for us to electronically file your tax return, our invoice must be paid in full.  Payment options are as follows:
